The Jack Shockley Peacemaker Open

The Jack Shockley Warriors for Peace, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, is launching an annual Golf Outing & Silent Auction and could use your support. The inaugural Jack Shockley Peacemaker Open & Silent Auction will be hosted at Prairie View Golf Club on May 13th, 2022 and will feature an 18-hole scramble format, on-course contests, silent auction and post event reception. You can help by becoming a financial sponsor of the Golf Outing or by donating an item for the Silent Auction.

The Warriors for Peace seek to honor the life and memory of Jack Shockley, who in August 2020, at the age of 24, was a random victim of gun violence. The Warriors’ mission is to oppose the evil of gun violence by promoting peaceful change, one life at a time. To this end, we support scholarships to enable grade-school graduates from Indianapolis’ least privileged parishes to complete their Catholic education through high school. We also promote peaceful change by providing financial assistance to families affected by gun violence and raising awareness of its devastating consequences. The Peacemaker Open & Silent Auction will support all these efforts.
